I want to know how I change a fuse i believe is broke on a 1987 mercedes (2.3) 190 E . The gas gage and cooling gage don't work any more. this happen about a week ago. And I don't know where the fuse box is.

this happens loaded & empty as i'm putting tourqe to it.but only for a brief second.mainly lower gears1-5 low and 6&7 in high side. it's not all the time in those gears but it seems to be getting worst. the clutch is ok.could this be the transmisson, power divider,or rear?

I have a 97 Honda Accord with pressed on Rotors and I can't get them off? I heard there is a way using a couple of holes on the back of the Rotor. If you insert two bolts into them and turn them with equal pressure it will pop it off has anyone else tried this? Any help is greatly appreciated.Best answer def gets my vote and I won't forget. TY.

The car is parked and the speedometer is sitting on 55mph. When I moved the car the needle moves, but moves between 55-120mph, never back down to zero or actually MPH. I dont have a digital read out, just a plain needle, on a plain Impala.
Side note: My car was hit in the parking lot at work, and it start a day or two after it was hit. MY car was parked and someone else backed into it? not sure if that would cause problem, but I dont understand what could just make that happen like that all of a sudden. pleaase help.

i have a problem that needs solved!i have a 88 olds delta 88 3.8 and i was wondering if a muffler can cause a rattle noise when iam driving.i replaced the cat and i took off the intermeddiate pipe and the old muffler and nothing in it.so i was wondering if a rattle in the muffler would sound clean up to the front?it drives me crazy by the rattle.any answer will be appreciated thank you.and by the way its the original muffler that came from the factory.

I have just replace a thermostat on an 87' Mercedes (2.3) 190E. I took it for a text run and about ten minutes into it stem started to come out the water excess hose. what can be causein' this. Did I put to much water? I've replace the part cause it broke on me two days ago. The thermostat housing came with a new thermostat. Should I take a bid off the water out.

removed tank following suspected fuel starvation. old car 1972 imp, recently bought and fuelled up by previous owner. fuel guage sender unit siezed so suspect car standing for some time. have rodded the fuel line with grass strimmer plastic wire and found a solid obstruction (or something) 40 cm from tank. cannot blow air through the line in either direction. i have not got a compressor.

COMPRESSOR IS LESS THAN A YEAR OLD AND MOTOR MOUNTS HAVE BEEN CHECKED. ALSO SEEMS TO PULL ON ENGINE MORE THAN USUAL. PROBLEM JUST STARTED. I HAVE DRIVEN THE CAR ALL SUMMER WITH NO PROBLEM. MECHANICS ARE UNABLE TO DETERMINE PROBLEM. COMPRESSOR MAKES SLIGHT CLACKING NOISE.

I bought the car used, and the 1995 car came with a 1996 user's manual. As a result, I do not have accurate fuse diagrams. I have tried a number of the fuses, but have not found any broken. I also do not know which fuse would take care of that function.

I have a 1993 Toyota Tercel that has severe oxidation on several of the car's original panels. Can anyone suggest how I can get this oxidation taken care of and the rest of the car to shine like the replaced hood and right finder that were replaced in 2003 after an accident? Thanks

My mom's 1989 Buick Century has been sitting for about 6 months. We drove it about twenty miles and the whole time it was sputtering and sounded like it was missing horribly. We went into a store and when we came out it wouldn't crank. It was trying to turn over but it just wasn't happening. We had the car towed home and the next day it started fine. We drove it a quarter mile and it wouldn't stay cranked. We let it sit for a few days and then it cranked fine and is sounding really good. I'm just afraid to drive it because I'm afraid I'll get somewhere and it won't crank. Do you think it's the fuel pump? This car is fuel injected so it doens't have a carburator. Someone told us to clean the distributor cap, but it doens't have one. Any ideas?

So some IDIOT just hit me the other day and took off and my car got pretty damaged. I have a 99 Hyundai Tiburon. I am for sure going to need a new door and some fixing of the back area above the tire. The inside of the door is fine though. Does ANYBODY know anything about cars that would be able to tell me any kind of estimate for this??
