I have a 2000 chevy impala and i'm hearing a noise when I am above 30 mph that sounds like an airplane engine. I have some basic knowledge of cars, and I have allready checked and replaced one of the wheel bearings, and the noise is still there. Is it possible that the cv joints could make this noise? or is it more likely a transmission problem? there is no vibration in the wheel, and if i rev the engine in nuetral, the sound does not change. It only gets louder when the wheels are turning faster, and "winds down" as I slow down. ANY IDEAS?

I have a 2004 Chevy Impala and when I try to start it the battery is going dead. It starts fine with a jump and will hold a charge while driving, but once I turn it off the battery is getting drained. I had a diagnostic on it and they couldn't find anything wrong, said the battery and alternator are fine.

The two vents it blows out of well seem to be overcompensating for the 2 vents it won't come out of.

have a 94 chevy lumina that cuts out or stalls after warming up. We've changed the fule filter and used gas treatment too. The check ingine light comes on only once in a while. Could it be spark plugs?Fule pump? Also, it runs OK in reverse, even after it starts messing up. It stalls while in drive, but I put it into neutral and it starts up. Sounds like it's back firing.

I have a 1995 Grand am. Yesterday the batteyr light came on, so my dad checked it and said the alternator may be going bad. Well all is well, today my sister was driving it, and it got really hot and fogged up the window, so she pulled over and the low coolant light came on..
I went up there and put a gallon of coolant in it, it was at 100... Then i start to drive it and it slowly went up... It was almost 250 when i pulled in my parking spot, when I got out, i noticed a leak trail from where i had just driven from.. And the low coolant light stayed on. When I turned off the car it sounded as if the coolant was boiling..
I just got a new radiator about two months ago, and new seals... Anyone know what this could be..
Also, my battery light just came on so does this mean it has to be the alternator if the battery was checked while on and I was toldit should be at like 13, 14 and it wasnt charging basically?

I think something is wrong as I don't get a warning lite to let me know that something is wrong. I have an appointment with our ford dealer in Ridgecrest CA . They said they probably couldn't do anything for me as the warning lite doesn't come on.

Am I missing anything? Should I check the alternator?

My husband has a ford taurus,(yes, I know they are pieces of sh*t) anyway, he was driving around 60 mph and all of a sudden the spedometer went to zero and the car started shaking a little, kinda like reving, then it returned to 60mph and it felt like someone slammed on the brakes and the spedometer went back to zero. What the heck could that be, we are taking it to a shop in about a week.

I have a 1996 Camaro RS (3800II). I use only Dex Cool per the manufacturers specs. I do not see any coolant when I stop or when the car sits outside. Yet, I'm constantly adding coolant (the level is very low). Nothing is wet under the hood or the bottom of the vehicle. I can smell coolant when the AC is on and I am driving. Are there any suggestions?

My gas milage is really upsetting me. At first it was really good. I was getting 39 mpg. Then, I've been noticing it is getting worse. I haven't calculated it yet but at point A I will be at 3/4 tank and at point B (say about 20 miles later) I am almost at 1/2. A few weeks ago, should I make this trip, I could barely notice if I've gone down.

I've added a gas treatment two weeks ago.

What is wrong with my poor Beverly?
