wont make one bit of difference either way but why waste your money and put synthetic oil in your engine. If it is the other way around and you normally use synthetic and had to put conventional oil in no problem.

Depends, Its not going to hurt anything really its just a complete waste of money. Regular oil is 3 dollars, Mobil 1 is 8 dollars. If the motor has high mileage, use valvoline maxlife or a similar oil. Because it takes longer to break down using synthetic oil you can usually get 2 filter changes out of 1 oil change, regualar oil you change the filter when you change the oil.

Mobil 1 will slip past the rings on a worn out engine, causing smoke out the tailpipe. Unless you have a race car or a motor that was started on mobil 1 it doesnt provide many benifits.

Just buy a semi-synthetic to begin with.

It will be priced in the middle and you won't have to chance with the additives in the synthetic not getting along with the mineral oil.

If it is NECESSARY, it will not hurt anything, but if you have the choice, don't mix them. One in a mineral based oil (hydrocarbon) and the other is synthetic (man-made) and the molecules are of a different type and size.

It's ok, as it wont hurt, but defeats the purpose of using the synthetic.
