It's a 1997 Dodge Avenger with a 2.4 motor. They said they would have to remove the intake to get at 3 of the plugs and it would cost between 300 and 350 dollars. Is that reasonable?

Truck Idles great. when accelerating i get a lot of valve chatter. Power from the engine feels good. It wont burn the tires off but it will go 70 no problem and once you acheive the speed you want and let off of the gas the chattering is totally quiet. Once you start to accelerate again the chattering comes back. It starts and runs fine but when you accelerate it chatters. Valves,guides,springs what is it? Thanks all you answers people out there.

i know i've asked this question like a million times already, but how much would a brake shop charge for front disc brakes on a light duty truck. i've felt the rotors with my fingers through the holes/patterns in the rims and they are fine, just dirty, so i just need brakes done. i also need a serpentine belt done and would like to know how much it would be to get that done as well.

My car's radio began to crackle, then shut off when I put on my brakes. Then, my ABS warning light came on, then my dash lights shut off and my car died. I have replaced the alternator and battery within the past 2 years. What could be wrong? My dash lights have also always flickered.

Probably know the answer to this but just making sure. If I decide to upgrade to a higher amp alternator in my '92 Mustang 5.0, is it absolutely necessary to rewire for it or am I asking for an engine fire?

The truck is running but I drove it on the highway in second at 60 mph before I realized I was not in drive. the engine is not locked. It just rattles a little in the crank.

ok one more time..............do some exhaust pipes have another pipe inside it? i had my headers connected to my existing exhaust pipes...had to take them off(headers) to check a leak...then i noticed that the new welded exhaust pipe had another pipe inside it,a smaller one?it looks like my old pipe but what i want to know is that normal?
