get it overhaulled by an alternator shop and should cost you around 60 bucks might be more but is well worth it. You dont want to get ripped off by the dealer at over 200 bucks.

i got one for my 97 catera at a pick n pull for 55.00. just make sure they test it in front of you. and they usually come with a 30 day warranty or so. just look in the phone book for used auto parts to find some places near you. i hope your radiator never goes out it can cost 500.00 and there is no fixing them. good luck.
