I am looking for an air intake kit for a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado with a 4.3 liter Vortec V6. I already know of the one from K&N. I do not want just a filter replacement. I want a new intake system with the tube and filter. Any usable advice will be appreciated. thanks

I just bought this Tahoe and I need to tune it up. It's a 1999 Chevy Tahoe LT, 5.7L, V8, A/C, AT, PW, PL, 4D, 4WD, 68,000 miles.
Here's what I'll be replacing/changing:
Oil - w/Castrol GTX Non-synthetic (I'll be using a can of Gunk engine cleaner first then substituting about 3/4qt of oil for a 19fl. oz. container of engine additive, but how many quarts do I add after that...the book says 5 so maybe I'll use a little over 4 qts then add the additive.)
Oil Filter
Air Filter
Spark Plugs (I'm going with AC Delco, non pre-gapped)
Transmission Fluid - This is my first auto vehicle so how do I check/change the transmission fluid and what is the best recommended fluid to use for this truck?
Coolant System Flush - I'll drain the radiator and refill with 2 cans of radiator flush and water, run for 10mins after normal temp w/heater on, then drain again, repeat for 10 mins w/water only, then drain again and fill with mixture of antifreeze/water.
So am I missing anything???? =)

I have a 1995 Volvo 940 w/ 111,900 miles. Everytime I get an oil change done, I am told that the transmission fluid needs to be flushed. I had it flushed twice, at 105,000 miles and at 109k miles. Recently, i was told to get it flushed again @ 111k miles. Do they just want the money, or is something wrong with my transmission?

I am looking for a grill for a 1987 International Semi Tractor. The model is F9370. I need to find one that is less expensive than the ones I have located so far. In or around the Chicagoland area is perfect. The cheaper the price, the better for me.

The wires had just been changed and we went through 3 fuel pumps before one fit with an adaptor but the service engine light is still on. There was one wire left with nowhere to put it, and that was how it was when the dealership finished replacing the wires. Now the gas is leaking. How can we fix this?

My son has his first truck and the alternator just went out. He is very handy and good with mechanical things, but has never worked on a car. Would replacing this alternator be something he could learn to do or is it something that is more complicated?

Thank you!

I was reading an article a couple of years ago where they benchmark tested motor oils and found little if any difference almost virturally identical between the expensive and cheap oils. This is for regular everyday drying to work. I understand the synthetics are suppose to be better. I was just generally curious are there any differences in overall engine life with using different type of oils.

thsi program must be very easy , include: recieving supplies / signing out supplies, removing stock, who took the stock, who recieved it, part number , identification, etc. this is for a fabricating steel business, using trucks and flat beds. (head lights, tail lights, wheels, dollies, etc.

possible? My car has dual exhausts on it and the whole exhaust system needs replaced, and I was wondering how hard it would be to just switch it over to a single exhaust (with just one muffler instead of the two.) It is for a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix. Please add details if you know anything about this.
