It honestly depends on the car and the flow rate of the exhaust. Soundwise, if you're just looking for something loud, I'm sure any muffler shop would be able to do that for you. They'll probably just remove the resonator and muffler so you get a straight out exhaust note which sounds okay in some cars, horrible in most.

Tuning many cars, my coworker and I found that Hondas and Nissans make more power with the 4-1 than the 4-2-1 headers. Not much of a difference, probably 4-5whp at most. That's about the difference with a full tank and 3/4 tank of gas.

With this minute of a difference, I'd just go with whatever's cheaper as money is more important than 3 measly horses. They'll both sound the same i can guarranty you that.
