i changed the head gasket but still wont start just cranks. does anyone have any sugestons as what i should try next?

i had spark plugs and head gasket changed. it had overheated on the highway.water came out of tail pipe. what else should i do.

Cut your lossess...recycle it.

could be a ton of things more info would be nice. Assuming you changed teh head gasket. a.) are you sure the valve timing is correct. If your sure of this go down the line. Check for a spark using a spark gap tester. If you have a spark the next item would be check that you have fuel. Check your ECM to make sure it's firing (which it should if you have a spark)

Get rid of it!!!! I would never by a kia because there cheaply built and like the old saying goes " you get what you pay for!!!" If you decide to buy another vehicle always check out motor trend magazine on vehicles on the market. It gives all the info you'll need for purchasing another car. If your engine is damaged that bad i don't think that it's worth putting any more money in to it.

ummm 1994 kia are you sure you even want to spend money on this. I mean its a 12 yr old kia for Gods sake. i'm surprised you were able to get a gasket at all.

Also assuming that when you changed the head gasket that you applied the correct torque to the bolts...otherwise you will be losing compression and it will not start
