About $100.00 to $150.00 for the brakes and about $50-$70. on the belt.
However, If the rotors are close or at minimum specs. they will need to be replaced.Add more money for this. Also Check the brake fluid it may need to be flushed, the hardware may be worn.
To help cut down on brake squeal have the hardware replaced, you wont be wasting any money...
And most of all get a quote before any work is done.

$$$ will vary depending upon complete inspection and what you decide to do. Options are...replace only disc pads; replace disc pads and disc rotors; replace disc pads and resurface disc rotors. If I were doing this for you, I would not guarantee a brake job against noises, "pulsation",early or uneven disc pad wear if you did nothing with the rotors. A complete and proper disc brake job requires disc rotors to be resurfaced or replaced. By resurfacing the rotors, that will "true" the rotorsthat may cause a "pulsation" in the steering wheel while braking. Also, all "glaze" build-up will be removed preventing different "sensations" and noises (squeaks, groans, etc.)
And I can probably guarantee you, you haven't inspected (felt with your finger) the "inboard" (inside) of the disc rotors AND you haven't measured them for LEGAL MINIMUM THICKNESS SPECIFICATIONS, which may determine whether you need to replace them or not. Any reputable repair facility, or anybody else who may have intelligence, will not do ANYTHING with a vehicle brake system if the disc rotors are undersized. Use a good quality disc pads.
Serpentine belt, $50.00 to 100.00, give or take, depending on who does it.

well i know that your finger method sounds like a plan but , i don't recommend brakes without turning rotors. the reason is because a brake pad is flat and the rotor has grooves and high low spot the the new brake pads will also need to wear on . fyi *** don't let anyone sell you anything else but maching rotors and brake pads . most brake shops want to sell you calipers and lines, rotors, brake pads . usally a good brake job will cost you 150.00-200.00 for front and belt will usally cost about 50.00 for the belt and 20.00 - 30.00 to install depending on the difficulty this is for a serpentine belt.

front disc pad replacement only should run between 30 and 60 dollars. the serpantine belt should only cost about ten dollars to install; however the cost of the serpantine belt may knock your socks off. I bought one for my car and cheapest one was 56 dollars. they do last a long time however, and are simpler than changing 3 or 4 old time belts.
