Our car was parked outside of our house and a lady hit the front of it. The whole driver's side is completely smashed into the tire and it is not driveable. We have all of her information and filed a police report. Her insurance is not open tonight. So, we called our insurance and they said we would have to pay out of pocket for a rental car.
Shouldn't her insurance be the one to pay for a rental car? We have absolutely no money to pay for one even if it is reimbursed. Our insurance also told us that we have car rental insurance but it is still $25 a day and we also have loss of use insurance.
We are calling the other lady's insurance tomorrow but I am so stressed that they won't pay.
What do we do?

I was in a car accident today. I started to change lanes and saw a lady in my blind spot, so swerved back into my lane. She thought I was still coming and swerved , then lost control of the car, spun out and hit me. She said she hit me when I came into her lane. The cop basically told me I remembered it wrong and I was at fault, since she hit me when I came into her lane and her hitting me caused her to spin out.

Basically, I want to know if there is a website or someway of telling at what angle the car hit me to prove she was already spinning out of control when she hit me.

Lets just say someone has no car insurance. Their drunk friends are at a party, and call for a ride. One says to take her car and she has insurance. So you pick them all up take them all home safely and when parking in your apartment complex you hit one of those poles, and mess the car up pretty badly. What happens, if your friend's parents dont want report it to the insurance. Who has to pay?!

none of the other drunk girls will help you pay and you dont have very much money at all.

Does the person liable for the initial damage still have to pay my son for the damage to his car caused in the first accident?

I borrowed my Aunts car for a few months and was pulled over for not having a front license plate (and additionally found out the cars tags were expired) a couple times. I told her and she said she would take care of it. I took her word, gave back the car and forgot about it. I just recently found out that my license is suspended because the fix it tickets were never taken care of. Apparently she let the car sit in the garage for almost 9 months and then sold it to another party. Since then, shes become unreachable and Im stuck with 2 HUGE fines I have to pay. I just want to know who's legally responsible for taking care of the tix... I assume the owner of the car and if theres any way I can avoid or lessen the fines have to pay.

Unfortunately since it had been an extended period of time from when the tix were issued, they have been turned over to collections (how I found out), so they are no longer in the courts hands.

HELP!!

In Brockton, MA. I currently finance my 2005 altima and last night i got into an accident. I have had the same insurance for 8 yrs and never got into an accident and even though I have full coverage and I had requested rental on my policy yrs back but they said I DONT have rental coverage. Isn't car that is financed required to also have rental so that if the car is at the shop (like in my case) I'm still able to go to work everyday to keep paying up on the car?

I have no points and no accidents within 5 years time. I have no surcharges. Is this a good rate for full coverage on a 1997 Ford Taurus? I know of people who only pay this amount for full coverage for a year. Why is my rate higher than there's?

Car x is traveling north. Car Z is traveling south. Car x enter a center turn lane with no lights or stops sign. X wants to turn left to enter a car wash. X stopped in the center turn to wait for the southbound (2 lanes) to clear of traffic. When clear at the speed of 5 to 10 mph x turns left. 3/4 of her car is in the driveway of the car wash with aproximately 5ft left to complete her turn when she is struck by another car. Driver of car Z says X turned 25 ft in front of her. Z states her rate of speed is 27mph. X and another witness both state they never saw her in the lane until X was hit. X says Z made a lane change & thats why she is at fault entering my space . Z denies the lane change & says X cut in front of Z. Who would strike who and where is the damage if we assume Z is telling the truth.

Boyfriend had right of way, other driver came from a side street, where there was a stop sign, was making a left turn across traffic, where of course he was not able to carry out because there was a car (my car!) coming. What I want to know is who should I be expecting to pay for my damages? And will be held responsible as the owner of the car, even though I was 600 miles away? I was going to renew my policy, when I returned, is that very likely? Who will insure a car thats recently been in a collision? My man is saying "I wasn't at fault" probably meaning he dosen't intend to take any responsibility. Can I then sue HIS *** off?
