I was going to buy one as a pressie for my partner who has does not have a licience.
Just wondered what the costs of running a scooter was?

Hi,

This is the sort of question I've never questioned myself as I didnt assume it will ever happen to me. I had an accident in UK, where the car, an old car, is not mine but I am insured.
It was my fault as i was queuing in a line, moving slowly was in the first gear, and I have checked something on the GPS while suddenly the other car stopped and bumped into it.
His car was a tough van and only one rear light broken as far as I could observe. The car I was driving ended with both beacons broken plus the plate number and bumper bended/broken and the hood insignificantly affected.
I didnt really know what I have to do, I asked the man if I should call police, said I dont need to, offered me a paper with his name, and we left.

This is just a case but I'd like to know where I can read what I have to do legally in case of accident.

About this case I only wonder how much I would have to pay ?!

i just received a 2000 Jeep Wrangler from a co-worker for free this weekend & i live in California. I have the Bill of Sell & Tittle in hand.

my question is how do i go about registering the jeep as a non operating car ?

before i was able to take the care from my co-worker the jeep was working fine then there was a engine issuse & the coast to repair the jeep was to much for the co-worker so i was able to take it off of the co-workers hand. so is there away to not smog the jeep & still be able to register the jeep as a non op ?

Someone turned into a shopping center right in front of me and I had no time to stop, although I braked as hard/fast as I could. Cops happened to be around taking donations and one saw the whole thing and said I was not at fault. Someone at work told me no matter what my rate would go up. I am visiting Los Angeles for a week and I need to rent a car. I'm 20 years old and most rental places require that you be at least 21 or 25. I have found a few places that said they would allow me to rent a car if I have insurance that fully covers it, and of course, my insurance doesn't! I've been to LA many times and used buses, taxi's and whatnot, but this time I wanted to try a rental car. Anybody know any places that would allow this? Thanks :)

My license and registration were suspended b/c my auto insurance lapsed. I went to the DMV today and picked up my receipt to learn that my registration is suspended until Aug '08. I can get a restricted license on Tuesday but apparently I am not allowed to drive my car. Is there away around this because what is the point of having your license if you don't have a car to drive? I didn't know if anyone knew of some NYS law or something that I could do so I could at least operate my vehicle. Please Help!!!!

I just got back from driving for the first time after getting my permit and it was bad. I was in an empty parking lot with my sister helping me, but it's so hard. Just being in the car behind the wheel felt so awkward and it feels like I'll never learn how to drive. Is this how everyone felt their first time or is it just me?

The police were called and they asked if an ambulance was needed the other party said no, So the police said to just exchange info if there were no injuries. I have since called the other party involved to see if they were alright, And now they are saying that there are injuries. what will happen now? they were very nice to me at the scene, but when i called them on the phone they were extremely , Well not nice at all what will happen now?

My poor car was smashed by a van yesterday and my insurance company will pay $20 dollars a day for a rental car.

I heard somewhere that rental car places give insurance companies discounts on their rental cars.....i dont know.

Do you think $20 will cover a midsize car????
My family is too big for a compact car and im just trying to figure out how much more im going to have to pay if anything when i get the car tomorrow.
