Because
a) Even if you have one (and many do not) they are subject to constantly changing. Your name and BD are generally fixed.
b) Why would you want that much of your privacy posted on your license? What would be the value?

All DMV business (and most legal business) is done by mail. Did the DMV ever call you and remind you to renew?
