At what age do car insurance rates drop? Currently I am a 20 year old male living in Kansas. Also what else will cause insurance to go down. If you get married, have kids, etc....?

Thanks.

I live in Maine and I've bought a Jeep in a private sale. Long story short, I won't be able to get the title for 3 weeks. In order to register the vehicle, I need the title. Can I apply for one of those paper license plates or are they only available with a dealer purchase?

My boyfriend went outside a few weeks ago & noticed that someone had hit his car taking off a significant portion of his rear quarter panel. As he was taking pictures of it, a girl who lives in our apartment complex came outside & admitted she had done it. They exchanged information, my boyfriend reported it to his insurance company, & got estimates for the damage. Now the girl is ignoring him. Every time he knocks on her door she won't answer, & every time he calls her she doesn't pick up (he has left numerous voicemails). He has tried knocking & calling at many different times of day with no luck. Is there anything he can do here?

Hi. I would like to know if it is mandatory for me to register and insure my 150cc dune buggy in Canada, Ontario. I am ONLY planning to use it in legal trails/routes and will be using a trailer to carry it around. A picture of the buggy and specifications can be found here:http://www.awesomebuggy.com/products/buggies/raptor_series/raptor_150/

My breaks went out I slid into the back passenger side and scraped the back side of a car that was passing on the cross street which was speeding. She did not have license or insuarnce. She then lost control of her vehicle and hit 2 parked cars spaced out a block down, in result to her hitting the other cars she totaled hers out. Am I responsible for all the cars?

So, here is my situation:

I'm 17, I have my driver's license but I'm pretty sure I have to be 18 to get car insurance. I can afford a car but I can't get the insurance till I'm 18. In Maine, it's illegal to drive a car without insurance and I wouldn't anyway becuse it's retarded.

My boyfriend is 19, he does not have his driver's license but he his over the age of 18...So, I was thinking could I buy a car and put it in his name then could he get insurance for me even though he doesn't have a driver's license?

I have a court date on Monday. I've been advised to put insurance on the car I was driving and take proof of insurance to court with me. I, however, can't afford to maintain insurance on this particular vehicle. What can I expect on my court date? A fine, or worse?

Recently passed my driving test in November, I have since bumped another car - which is going through insurance. I have now also gained 6 points for speeding, (42mph in 30mph) then (41mph in 30mph). I know I will lose my licence, but does anyone know for how long, or do I just resit test?

Does anybody also know how this will affect my insurance premium, as it is already £68pm now.

I am a 16 year old in NY and my parents do not want me to obtain a learner's permit because they are afraid that their insurance rates will go up and they cannot afford it now. Now, a friend told me that I could go to the NY DMV without my parents and get a learner's permit. Is this possible? I would like a learner's permit not only for the ability to drive, but also as a solid form of photo ID (like, instead of a passport). What should I do about this?

PS. My parents won't be convinced.
