when do you have to get your car inspected and how often after the first time? Also,how much is it?

If you buy a new car in CT,you're exempt from state inspection for 5 years...not the same there huh?

You will have to get the car inspected pretty much right away. You will need to go to a garage that has a sign that they are an official inspection station. You will have to go once per year after that. The cost is probably about $25 or so.
