I have '97 pontiac Sunfire. White smoke started coming out of tailpipe. Doesn't seem like I have the power I am supposed to have. Not overheating. There is water? beads on some hoses. Could my water/coolant be leaking? Would that cause it to smoke. Just changed the starter yesterday. Could something be hooked back up wrong. Just started yesterday. Afraid to drive.

The Car were buying has been taken very good care of. It has new tires, new brakes, the interior and exterior is in great condition. The only thing we can tell thats wrong with it is that it needs an oil change. It has 120,000 Miles on it and the guy we are buying it from is letting us have it for a $1000 at $50 a month for payments. Are there anyone out there who knows a little something about cars. We would like to find out if this sounds like a good deal and if a pontiac grand prix is a good car to own. so you know the Car is a 92 Pontiac Grand Prix SE two-door car.

I have a Pontiac Grand Am, year 2000. Can't seem to get the air conditioner to work. I have tried everything. We have changed the condenser, low valves line, done the leak test and still it will only hold the freon for only 3 days and we are at square one again. I love this car, but it is July and I am in Texas! Help anyone out there have any suggestions other than just sell, what are my options? Anything the mechanics might be over looking?

I want to get away from flow masters, everyone has them. I was curious as to the sound of a bassanni system or loudmouth vs. flow masters. Also which set up flows better. This may be an ignorant question but I'm new to it. I have a 2001 Trans Am. Also different question..My car is a factory burgandy color. I am having a hard time finding the name of the color. Does anyone happen to know? Any advice is greatly appriciated!

the car that I'm working on had a 35 tooth driven and a 19 tooth drive speedometer gear assy. the rear ratio was 2.41-1from the factory- and the trans. was never touched- the parts book correlates that gear assy. too. The customer had put another rear end in the car and it was 2.73-1 and never changed the speedo- it read too fast. I determined with my limited math skills that a 38 tooth driven gear recalibrated the speedo.
IT read correctly.
Now the customer replaced the rear with a 3.73-1 and I am having problems finding out what the driven gear needs to be- any math wizards out there? please help me?
