Why do all repair shops (I whent to 5 of them) try to con you in to getting a rebuild if you don't need one and why do they all try to act like they are your best friend they all suck at acting because you can tell that all they want is your money as evident with my encounter with Amco transmissions. As soon as I said thats way more exspensive than the competion, why do you charge so much money 2600 compared to (1400 to 1600) he almost immedatly stoped the whole I'm your friend bit and he said to me infront of other people because I can charge that much so if you don't like the price than go some where else. This really pissed me off and I think it made the other people their think twice about having there cars at such a poorly run shop. So before I left I told the guy that he was a peace of S%$T and that he should not be in biusness. I also felt like telling the rest of the tranny shops the same thing but this a hole just made me so mad.

Has been serviced regulary,in good condition, needs paint touch up, all eletric, alloy alum wheels, brand new set of tires, still runs great. has been well taken care of.

The Anti-freeze leaks from the bottom of the car and upon initial investigation, I found out it leaks from a side vent (the one with a small rubber tube).

My 94' Pontiac Bonneville has a mysterious transmission issue. It shifts down into 3rd gear and stays there until I reset the computer or let it sit and cool. I have changed the computer and I am still experiencing this problem. Any ideas?

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix, the fan for the air conditioning is not working. I already checked the fuse and relays and they are all o.k.. Anybody knows whatelse can be wrong? I want to have a better idea before sending the car to the dealership for service.

i have a 2001 pontiac bonneville, not supercharged. it runs great. everything is fantastic on it except it has trouble starting on occassions. actually most of the time i have to pump the pedal and crank for a couple seconds for it to start. i really hate to take it in public with it not being able to start easily. anyone have any solutions?

No rust, everything original, hasn't been started in years though, all windows still intact, just like Smokey and the bandit but without the t-tops. He even still has the original red, gold and orange bird decal that was on it. I'm sure it's no good anymore but that's kinda cool. My brother bought it off the showroom floor in 79. Drove it for about 7 years (low miles) then when he moved he left it in my mom and dad's drive way. There's not a day that goes by that someone doesn't stop and ask if they can buy it! Everybody wants that car. My brother won't sell it, he certainly doesn't need the money, he says he's going to have it totally refurbished for his youngest son to drive. We'll see...Anyway just curious about the value. Please someone share their vast knowledge with me.
