The car drives smooth, power everything+remote key&trunk+ alarm and the inspection is due at the end of May 2007 !
It was Inspected in PA(so I think you know that the PA State Inspection is very severe!!!) it has NO RUST!!! It has even less than 70K, around 69 800, but I put 70K as I'll still drive it before sell it as I'm confident to drive it anywhere! It's a SE which is way better on gas than SSE or SSEI and also has plenty of power !! I went to a dealer in here, Danbury CT, but I got not even a half what the car is wort; now, I know that I won't get the price from KBB or Nada, but not also what that dealer said, for a car in such a good condition, inspected and with only 70K!!!

After stalling in a flood puddle (water approximately up to the door but just enough not to leak into the inside of the car) my 2001 Pontiac Sunfire GT (automatic) drove 110 miles (and 24 hours) just fine but then began to not shift properly. The RPM's go up between 4 to 5 at 25 to 30 mph before the car shifts into the second gear. On the interstate, it doesn't want to shift into the final gear at all (70 to 75 mph.) We have replaced: neutral saftey switch and the manifold absolute pressure sensor and had the transmission flushed but the problem has not gone away. The "check engine" light is on but registering the same code to the parts we already replaced. Of possible interest is the "trac off" light which has also come on. Help!

My 01' Grand Am idles really rough. My car actually stalled the other day because of it. Also, it seems like when is rains, something funky is going on with my sercurity/passlock in my car. If I have the problem pinpointed, it will save me money when I take it in to get fixed. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, my car came stock with p195/70r15 tires, if I wanted to go back to 14 inch tires p195/75R14 what kind of difference would this make on my gas milage and my speedometer??? If it helps I have an electronic dash cluster with digital speedometer.

I have a 99 grand am that i bought used. I think it was 4 years old when i got it. i have had 6 flat tires in a span of a year. all of them have been slow leaks , that i never caught until they were flat. i have always had issues keeping air in the tires. i have bought new rims, put tubes in the tires, nothing has helped. has anyone else had this issue with this type of car?

1999 Grand Am GT, 3400, SFI. I've checked under the car.. there are no signs of dripping gasoline. A friend of mine checked the gas cap through emissions testing and it failed. So I bought another gas cap and he reset the computer on my car and the light came back on 2 days later. The test results were "evaporator leak" (small leak)

I took it back 2 days later because the light came back on and this time the emissions testing came up with two problems, but he can't tell what they are. He reset my computer again and the light came back on again.

I would like it to look fairly nice on the body of the car. It is for drag racing. If possible, maybe ,if any luck, it might be a complete car. I am looking for it in the areas of Yadkin County or the surrounding counties. I don't want it to be rusted out. Color really doesnt matter .

Some people have told me you have to drop the rear axel,some say just gas tank and still others tell me there's a panel in my back floor board. Can someone please help me?
