A very common problem with stalling at idle is leaking vacuum. Over time, vacuum hoses crack and start leaking vacuum, which makes the engine stumble at idle but run fine otherwise.

The good news is that this is a fast and inexpensive repair. Lift the hood and see if you hear a hissing or whistling sound. Run your fingers along hoses and rubber pipes to see if you feel a leak. If it's a simple rubber hose, you can get a replacement at an autoparts store for $2. More complex rubber fittings will cost more and have to come from a dealer.

It could be several things. A plug not getting spark, carb not set high enough,a rotar button,or yes a coil. Try going to your local Advanced Auto or Auto Zone sometimes these guys can be pretty helpful. Or perhaps ypur local garage can give you a better idea without charging you.

Just for the heck of it -- AND I AM NO MECHANIC, check your spark plugs too. Mine was stalling like that too. We've been having to add oil a LOT of oil because of a leak -- evidently when doing this, we must have loosened a spark plug as it popped off (right next to the cap where the oil goes). I thought it was something serious that we can't afford (usually the case anyway) and here it was just a spark plug. :)

check your throttle position sensor, cam sensor and idle air control.it could be 1 of those or like the other person says,it could be a vacume leak.
