I have found a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk and a 2002 Firebird Firehawk and they are basically exactly the same accept for the words on the back. (one says firebird and one says Trans Am) I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the difference in the two.

would you want one i cant beleave thay stop making them but thay wanted 36 $ plus for the ss/slp package and now at best you can get 18/20$ive seen them for this price with only 25miles what a ripe off i would never buy new any thing the new gp are 25 plus and with just 5000 miles thay are 16.000 you drive them off the lot i will pick them up 8.000 or more cheper dumm bunney

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 and was having problems with the wind noise in the sunroof. I filed with the BBB Autoline, before it went to arbitration GM offered MSRP trade for my car. The dealer offered me a good deal on a new car. I just want everyone to know that you can fight the big boys and come out ok. If you are going thru something similar feel free to email me and i'll share with you what i learned during this process. Don't let General Motors or any other auto manufacturer bully you.

Ok, what has happened is, today when I got in the car started it up, when I backed out of the driveway and started down the street it started smoking black smoke (kinda grey), the engine runs fine dont overheat or anything, could I have overfilled it with oil maybe?? There isnt any oil in the antifreeze and I am not loosing antifreeze, so it isnt a blown head gasket.

2000 Trans Am, the paperwork says that "D" is used for normal driving, and that "3" can be used for more power, but less fuel economy, such as uphill. Can this only be used for going up hills and such, or can it be used to increase straight line acceleration or drags.

Also, does anybody know what the 0-60 or any other acceleration times are for the automatic transmission? all the ones i've seen are for the 6 speed.

its sale price is 14990, i am going to try to take it down to 14300, but i havent even test drove it yet, because i get mixed reviews on this vehicle. Please someone inform if it's a car i need to turn away from. I like the 06 chevy equinox but it costs to much i have a 2 year old i just need to know if this is a good car for my family?

I had to replace the window sweeps. They were weather worn and breaking off causing the windows to rattle. GM discontinued them. A Pontiac dealership can get them but the cost is $200.00 per window. The sweeps for a 91 Cavalier came close to fitting. After they were installed with a lot of modification, the power windows will not work properly. They all worked very well before. The motor on the passenger side door was replaced and works well. The drivers side door window and quarter windows on both sides stick or won't move more than a couple of inches. Does anyone have any suggestions or had this problem? Window sweeps are the external rubber strips that fit against the windows. I was told all of the power window motors need to be replaced. I'm not sure this is necessary. Any thought on the subject would be appreciated.

yesterday, my hubby purchased a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am for me!! We were looking things over, and there was NO owners manual in the glove box. I found that online, so I am ok there, but I am looking for a repair manual. Anyone know of where I can get pne for free, or possible download it? There is nothing wrong with the car, I am just looking for this book, as a precaution.

Recently my 2001 Pontiac Grand AM has its SES light on, and I got the DTC code which is P0442 (EVAP Emission Control System Leak, small).
Could you please tell me what you can tell from that code and what part of the car is wrong? Thanks a lot.
