these are for free, GUT IT ie lose weight i think it goes for every 10 pounds u remove is like 1hp gain or vise versa, and every thing u can't get rid of move as far back to the rear of the car as possible for better traction, removing the front sway bar will help in letting the front end rising when you launch improving weight transfer ie better traction, next fully compress your front struts and drill a hole in them "YES i did say that" doing this will give u a cheap set of 90\10 race struts. this will improve weight transfer even more. not running an air filter will flow a lot better than a cold air kit but not recommended for street driving, to much dust, next on the list is the muffler get rid of it and put a y-pipe in there so u can keep the duel tips. guess what your old bird is 2.5 to 3 sec. faster oh by the way before u buy any thing make sure the the car can take your upgrades theres nothing worse than a new set of heads on a motor with burnt rings or a built motor and a stock trans that u just blew up the starting line

well, there are literally thousands of things that you can do to make your car run a quarter faster.
Short of stroking out the engine. You can start with a better intake system (but thats small ****) that doesnt really add much at all. Of course upgraded exhaust system is recommended (do not cut it). Many things on the valve train can be upgraded including cam, rockers, and valve springs. New heads always help. Upgrade the fuel system to high flow. add a blower or if you can find a shop (turbocharging) is quite wicked on formulas. change out rear gearing ratio to 4:11. Some fat-*** rear tires will help with your launch. strip out the interior to reduce weight. upgrading the computer is always recommended when adding performance (particularly one that allows you to adjust a/f ratios)

Put a cold air intake on it with a supercharger and a turbocharger.put some 125 hp shot nitrous and bore it out.put some new headers and a borla prformance exhaust on that Formula.give it a ram air induction hood for about 15 extra hp.alltogether with all those mods youll have about 600 hp or so. : )

With $30,000 you have a great style of used motor vehicle thoughts. for my area i might %. the EVO bc the 4G63 engine is rather modifiable, has extensive capacity down the line as you get additional funds, and it would not take lots to make the already speedy motor vehicle even quicker. The supra is an extensive 2nd however the dealing with isn't as solid. yet once you prefer extreme horsepower numbers and bragging rights, the 2JZ supra engine is easily able to bobbing up one thousand+ whp. The celica seems wonderful yet is slow. not lots you're able to do approximately it the two. in case you prefer speedy, dont get one. solid success looking a Skyline for basically 30 thousand... What you will desire to do is purchase a 240sx for basically $5000 and a RB26DETT(skyline engine) from japan and alter it in. different autos you will desire to like are the Nissan 300ZX (some come twin-turboed), Mitsu 3000GT(additionally twin-turboed), or an Subaru WRX/STI (AWD and Turboed).

if your looking for something small that makes an impact then you should get a K&N air filter, it gives you 10% of your h/p extra. lik if you had 300 after the air filter you would have 330

Take it to a professional engine tuner. You obviously don't have the tech knowledge for any of that stuff.
