Best bang for the buck hands down is Gas.

Bang for the buck would be NOS. However its dangerous to have in the car. Think about getting rear ended with a bottle in the hatch. KAboom!

Those cars react very well to bolt ons. An SLP air lid, 3" exhaust, and some 4:10 gears would be perfect with the 6spd.

NOS is probably the best for the money, but you can't really count on having it very long, since the bottle will run out, not like you should need that kind of power on the street anyway. Otherwise a cam would be a good investment if you don't mind giving up some milage for more high end power.

I've seen LS1 cars with just a cam and nitrous hit 10's, either one is a good upgrade, but dollar for dollar you can't beat happy gas. Gen III motors love it.

headers and exhaust for big time go with nos but im not a fan of it i have a 2000 ws6 and i did a pull on a dyno of 385 with edelbrock headers borla exhaust and an slp airbox

i agree with NOS, but if you dont want to ride around with a big explosive tank, then i would go borla or flowmaster cat back. the exhaust is about the most restricted part of those cars.

I have an '01 WS6, and the best "bolt-on" mod is my Vigilante 3600 stall......

I am in the process of adding Pacesetter LT's, TSP catted Y, and Magnaflow catback......

I also have the "happy gas", yet to install it though...
