they are not slow, they handle great, look exotic, and get good gas mileage. why does everybody hate them?

no jacka$$, the gt had very little problems. the engine fires were only of the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder which was indeed a peice of crap.

yeah, *scoff* if you like poorly made cars! fieros are known for their poor functioning valve shafts and their almost non-existent celanoids and adjatators. and i wont even get IN to their awful turbo accelorators!

GM in 1988 let the engineers take it where it need to go and it was the best Fiero produced They did the same in 1975 and 1976 with the Cosworth Vega and both cars WERE HOT!!!!

because that car only had 93 hp and the v6 only had 160 hp they also would catch on fire to. the fiero was the biggest POS that ever role off the GM assembly line. thats why GM does not make them any more.

Somewhat, IMO..but hey!... the body wants what it wants sometimes. If you are trying to recapture your past, that all well and good (theres a Fiat x-19 in mine but it was crap, too!) but there is a reason Ford does not make those ugly little cars anymore nor did they for very long.....Maybe you could get one as a little pet project but not as your actual means of transportation, as that would just be silly. :) But I say GO FOR IT!

I have a buddy who had a Fiero. I think they're nice. I'm not a huge fan of Pontiac, but you have to give credit to a good car.

The Fiero is cheaper on insurance because of its weak 88hp engine and its old age and the cost of the car. It is only worth $1000. The Fiero is very unreliable and is famed for catching on fire. Get a Celica. Much better in every way possible.

You will need to almost completely remove the motor just to change the spark plugs, every 60 K.

I don't think they have the best of trannies....plus all the people I know that have them try to make them look like Ferraries! I like the t-tops though!

i say do a northstar v8 swap from a cadillac. i heard there are kits available for that. 300hp sounds good to me!
