IT COULD BE YOUR FUEL PUMP AND IN CASE YOU GET HIT IT WILL TURN ITSELF OFF SO THE CAR DON'T CATCH FIRE . ALSO AFTER BEING HIT AND YOU CAN STILL DRIVE THE CAR YOU WILL HAVE TO FLIP THE SWITCH BACK ON SO THE CAR WILL START.

I think it might be the fuel shut off switch or reset button. I have a 92 Bonneville SE with 246,000 and the switch is in the trunk on the side. In the event of an accident back there, the switch will shut off and to start and run the car again, you'll have to press the button.

It's the air-ride suspension. Air-ride suspension gives you a lot smoother ride. You only turn it off when you have the car up on jack stands or a lift for easier and safer repair and maintenance.

some ssei models had a air compresser in the trunk. look for a air hose/attachment. just a guess

I think it would be for your air shocks to raise or lower then car
