Take it from a G6 owner it is great on gas it looks sporty it is not that expensive. It has better review that the Honda or GEO. I myself was going to get a Acura TL or a Honda Accord. They were over priced almost everyone had the car. I like my G6 and I have a V6 at that, I still save money on gas.

I have not personally driven one. I just finished car shopping and what I would advise you to do is get a consumer reports for new cars. That will show you how that car rates compared to other cars in its class on many aspects including safety, gas mileage etc. You dont have to buy the consumer reports, you can get it at your local library just copy the pages you need. Dont buy any new car until you have read the reports, good luck!

Despite what the others are saying here, the G6 is quite a nice car...and it looks great. But then again, I own a Pontiac and I am a fan of the brand.

never buy a honda...i forget who said that but he is a little..you know what. two kinds of people drive hondas: 1. people who were given them and they cant afford anything else. 2. flamers who think they're so cool. guess what...they're honda's GEO METRO! but yea, i'd look at a new chevy impala or buick lacrosse or lucern before buying a g6.

i work at a pontiac dealership. now, you have two choices, the 4 or 6 cylinder. recomended choice: 4 cylinder. better gas millage, the motor is better quality, and the parts are cheaper.

It looks nice, but I wouldn't buy any model of car its first year out. New models sometimes need a year to get the kinks worked out.
You should test drive a Mazda RX-8.

I like it. Its sporty, fun to drive, not too expensive. I would not get the multipanel sun roof, get the regular one if you like a sun roof. The multipanel one is not much bigger and I think it will be more prone to leak later in the cars life.
