The 2005 GTO has potential. 400 hp with a 6 speed. The car looks great with a The Judge body styling. The GTO does have the grand am front end which gives it a cheap look. Pontiac is removing the GTO from it fleet of cars in 2007. look to get a deal at your local dealerships on 2006 GTOs.

The car is based on a Holden out of Australia, as well as built there. It's pretty good except for the bubble styling on it. The ones from this year are a little better looking, but they didn't bother to really change too much stuff since that car platform is being discontinued.
I'd say that if you can put up with the bland styling and quirky (not bad, just Australian) interior issues, then go for it.

Car is great except for the front end. It looks just like the early
90's grand am. Buy the car and put edsel front end on it, or at least a dodge truck front clip on it.

Very nice cars. Powerful. But man gas guzzlers. You even have to pay a 1000 dollar gas guzzler tax (read the window sticker). My husband has one, bright yellow.
