You can't with that kind of car. Get a new car or a better engine.

nitrous bottles are the fix just see autozone for the kit and bottles and the switches but the head spaces in the ponty grand prix are too tight and you may blow this engine at higher torque and at that speed if the timing chain goes it will lock that puppy up so if the belts old over 59 to 75,ooo miles then replace that and the water pump first for the safety factor also what cams in there is it a racing cam try that or some simple things heat up proformance like hotter wire sets and a better electric distributor a hotter one

Take the governor off of it. If you really know what you are doing look on the internet for parts. Look for turbo or super chargers. I'm not sure if they make those for your car but I know they are available for many cars. There are small things you can do to your car also to get more horsepower and to make it more fuel efficient. Depends on what you're looking for. Or do an engine swap if you have the money to do something like that. If your willing to put a lot of time in it that'd be one way to go. If you want something fast now you'd be better off just getting another car that has what you want. If you have ones worth going to where you live check salvage lots for parts or for a car with the engine you want in it. I know the salvage lots around here have a wide variety of cars or can get parts for you.

you can try dropping a v8 in it but you may need an entire drive train to make it work and then you cant be sure, why in the world do you want to go over 105, thats far beyond legal now? If its for racing you will have to beef up nearly everything in the car. talk about expense.

Look at superchips.com, put in the year and make of the car, they should have a programmer available. With this you can change the speed limit as you wish, I believe they have three different settings to choose from. Will give you better gas mileage and higher performance also. I believe they also have trouble shooting diagnostics, all built into one computer programmer.

Put it in a military cargo plane. Drop it at around 50 thousand feet. It will get well above 105.

The quickest and easiest way to get the speedo-needle to go beyond 105 is to re-program your speedometer. Simply go to the arts and crafts store and buy little stick-on numbers. Then put them over the existing numbers on the speedometer.

There are two ways. you can defeat the rev limiter with a modified chip available from Jegs, jc whitney & other automotive performance catalogues, or install a divide by X chip between the vss sensor, the crank sensor and the associated inputs to the pcm (engine computer).

The reason it will not go over 105 is by design.... The computer will not allow it... HOWEVER, with a performance chip, you can eliminate the limiter...It basically re-programs the parameters of the computer...

upgrading the computer is only going to get you up to 105 faster the only way to exceed 105 and keep the car stock is putting on your hazzard lights. It is going to by-pass the computer govener.
