My 2003 Chevrolet Silverado Cruise Control stopped working. When I turn the switch on, the light on the dash does not light up. The fuse checked out ok. Please help.

ok, so, i had factory oil till mod 0'6 basically, (my father didnt do jack to maintain the truck) so i did an oil change and ran some 5-20 through it for a week to clean it out, then replaced that with some 20-40, but now all the valves chatter, and one sounds like it is sticking. could this be the valves becoming loose after the gunk was cleaned out of it? if so, what do i torque them down to?

IS THERE ANY ONE OUT THERE WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL MAKE A 1998 DODGE RAM 2500 WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANNY AND A CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL TO GET ALL JUMPY WHEN DRIVING. (EXAMPLE) I WOULD BE DRIVING DOING ANY WHERE ABOUT 50 TO 70 MPH AND YOU WILL SEE THE TAC DROP 200 TO 500 RPM'S AND YOU ALSO CAN FEEL AND HEAR IT.IT HAS NEW OIL AND AIR FILTER.
IF ANYONE WHO HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND HAS FIXED IT OR WHO KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

it has the standard 1 litre turbo charged, which is good but i'm fed up with not being able to go on motorways and want to change it to a faster engine. someone recommended a slightly more powerful micra engine.

Ok, So Heres The Situation. I Have This 89 Maxima. My Drivers Side Window Does Not Go Down, And My Passenger Side Does Not Go Up, I Took It To A Guy To Check It Out, He Wanted To Charge Me 175 To Change The Motors In Each Window.. So Thats 350$.. To Pricey, And He"s Not Even Going To Put In New Motors, So My Questions Is,

Does Anyone Know How to Remove Them, So I Can Put A New One In, Or One That Works. Ive Taken The Door Panels Off Of These Cars Many Times, The Trick Is Getting To Motor Which Is Difficult, Does Anyone Know What To Tool/s To Use ?? Or Maybe Where I Can Find A Diagram Of The Electrical Part Of The Window, Any Store, Or Maybe Website?? Anything Would Really Help.. I Really Need To Get My Windows Fix, But Not At That Price..

Ive Changed My Switches, So Its Not Those,
And I Checked My Fuses, I Had A Professional Check It Out,
And Said It Was The Electric Motor In The Window...

was running fine very very low on gas parked it next morning it would not start put more gas in now it wont start wont even hit once or twice no fuel !! is there a trick i am forgetting it did this once before when i ran it out and cant remember what we did to get it started again.

My A/C compressor is going bad. Since I don't use my A/C anyway I want to run a shorter belt to the idler pulley, bypassing the AC. Does anyone know what size belt I need or how I might measure the belt size.

I have a 2000 Honda Civic LX, and the check engine light is on, and the car idles really low (just above 0), but does not stall out. We had it hooked up to a diagnostic machine (we went to Autozone), and the codes that pop up are: 1399, and 1381. Other than it idling low, the car runs great, still goes 0-60 in 8 seconds, still shifts perfect. Any idea what is going on with it, and what do the codes mean? btw, it has a little over 130,000 miles on it.

Last week I changed the serpentine belt on my 96 mercury sable. But before I changed it, I noticed the fabric on the bottom of the hood was ripped above where the belt is. When I changed it, I also noticed the notch on the bottom of the belt that is the most far from the engine was gone. When I was driving today, my car made a strange noise. I pulled over, and saw it was the same part of the new belt had broken and was slapping everything in its way when it made its rounds, including the fabric. So I know the problem has been around for a while, and I want to fix it before I have to change it again. (I changed it today)
