It can be done but will cost about as much as a new car. It would be far cheaper to sell your car and buy a convertible. Convertibles require a lot of extra strength to keep from flexing plus space to put the top when folded up.

Ok, so i know this isnt a convertable, but have you seen the new "glass" hard tops for the Stangs!! They are very cool, the entire thing is glass so you can see all around you. I personally dont like the look of convertables, so i would go witht the glass top, and it will probably be cheaper...check it out Its also a great head-turner too, its awesome!!!

It would be better to just trade it in and buy a convertible. If you have enough money, I'm sure that you could, but it would be so much cheaper and faster to get one from the factory, or from a used car lot.

good luck.

There is so much more involved besides cutting off the metal top and putting on the convertible top. It would not be economically feasible to do it. Just sell what you have and get a pop top.

For one, it would be expensive, two, it throws the suspension or something off balance, and the shocks I don't remember which. it's easier and cheaper to trade in and get a convertible.

NO!

Reason being, the convertible has a stronger body and frame to compensate for the loss of roof and pillars. your car lacks the subframe connecting equipment.
