1997 grand prix se?

i have a track off light on my dash lit and it will not go out even if i push the button to turn it off can anyone tell me why

Usually these buttons become inoperative. Take the switch out and turn ignition on to check light, then short connections together to see if the light does the reverse. If it does, the switch is humped. If it doesn't make any difference, you have a wiring problem or a module problem in the ABS control circuit.
