I have a 2006 bmw 325i. I decided to test my handbrake in a parking lot only to find that it didn't work while moving. Is this a new safety feature, or does the handbrake need to be pulled really hard?

when it slips will not move i turn it off and start it agian then i goes then does the same thing

Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong? The low coolant light comes on and stays on pretty much all the time. But, there is plenty of coolant. In addition the tempature gauge takes a few minutes to register. I am thinking a bad sensor or maybe dirty.... I don't know.... Any Ideas would be helpful.

hi everybody.
my car is an old bmw 525 tds(turbo diesel ).
the automatic transmission is a zf 5 hp18.
my problem is:
when i put the trans.in drive , the car will not accelerate normally from a start in first gear
it moves slowly just like the brakes were applied at the same time i accelerate.
the car drags,and the engine does not rev up...
then second shifts and it's ok...
when i put the selector in reverse,there is no problem at all...
what may be the solution?

Even when I hit the a/c switch to off, turn the dial away from defroster, and turn the blowers to 0 (off) the compressor continues to run indefinitely as long as the car is on. To turn it off, I have to stop and turn off the car. It's not only fuel inefficient, but sometimes I have to turn the heat up to keep it from getting too cool, if I've wanted only to turn the a/c on to cool down the car. The dealership tells me that for two years (04-06) Nissan did this with their Sentras and it's normal. Is it?

Brand new and yells quite loudly when you first move it, typically when in reverse (but then again that's usually the first direction it goes in the am). Took it back to the dealer who replaced the pads (I swear it made it worse). Anyone else with the issue or even better, a solution?

What is the maximum mileage I can drive for until I really have to have an oil change on my '07 New Beetle Convertible? Mine is way passed due for its 5000 mi. check up, it is now on 7000! I just can't find the time to go...(and the dealership is not conveniently located). But anyway I'm going in a few days, but do you think it'll be okay?

I have a 1998 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. What exactly does the Performance chip do? When I bought it the woman said she just put a brand new on in it and it cost her like $700 .....I dont know much about cars.
