Here are a few links to how-to-disable the DRL's(Daytime Runnin Lights) on a Grand Prix. But, I can't seem to locate the one I was really lookin for related to this issue. That I used on my 00 Grand Prix GTP a few yrs. back. Oh yes, here we go, check out the first link on the how-to's.
Basicly, the DRL module is located behind the driver's door access panel and all you need to do is un-plug the power supply leadin to it. In order to disable the DRL's while retaining the auto twilight head light function.
Good luck!

There should be a switch on the left side of the steering colum.
Or next to it on the dash. If not it may have day time runnig lights. In that case you can't.

they are suppose to be on all the time if the car is running.it's a safety thing.so there is no switch to turn them off.
