I know that 4WD can be turned on whenever needed on my Ford truck, but my dad is thinking about buying and AWD 1997 Chevy Astro and he wants to know if the AWD can be turned off and not stay on all the time.

I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler with 106,000 miles. Everything on the Jeep works flawlessly except for the shifting. I have the original clutch on it still, and when I try to shift, it seems like the gears are sticking. Its hard to get the stick into each gear. Not only that, I have to push far down with the clutch to change gears. On my 2000 Wrangler, I barely have to engage the clucth. Could my clutch be going out?

My Intrepid has been freaking out. It drives fine for awhile...and then out of nowhere, the radiator leaks, I lose all my water, and the engine overheats. I now keep three gallon jugs of water in my trunk for when the problem occurs (and it occurs with frequency).

It doesn't freak out with consistency...I may be able to drive it for a day or a week before it heats up again.

Also, perhaps on an unrelated note...I'm going through one or two bottles of power steering fluid per month. Any idea why?

I have a 2004 F-250 Diesel 4-Door Super Cab. For the first 6 months after we purchased it, the vehicle was getting 18mpg. Then all of a sudden the fuel mileage dropped to around 13mpg. I have gone back to the Dealer and have talked to Ford, but no one has been able to satisfactorily answer my question or provide me w/ a solution.

They just tell me that since Ford is not required to put the mileage rating on the sticker, there is no guarantee of a mileage range so basically it's tough luck.

I am trying to find out if anyone else has experienced this and if so, have they found a solution? I have tried a SuperChips re-programmer and it helped a little, but it still is not near what it was initially.

I have this 3.3L Grand Caravan, and it came to me with a tick in the engine, and no oil pressure. The previous owner had taken the oil pan off to put a new gasket on, and after that, he said it didn't appear to be oiling itself. So, I took it apart, got down to the oil pump (timing chain off, all that stuff) and tried priming the pump with grease. I put it back together, and it still ticks and has no oil pressure. Anyone who has some experience; if you've ever had to prime the oil pump, could you give me some advice about how to do it properly? If that doesn't cure the problem, what I might look at next?

Many thanks in advance

Mine has been damaged several times. No dents, but sratches and bad chips that required touch up paint.

I can't locate a local dealer who sells batteries for a 1993 volvo 850. One store does carry them for the 1994 volvo 850. Will the 1994 battery work in my 1993 model?

The only number on my old 1993 battery that I noted was 58r-60.

I want more power out of my engine. I am getting flowmaster exhaust and it is a stick shift. I would just like some ideas that could pump out more power from the 6 cylinder until I get a V-8. Could I get a turbocharger or just any ideas on how I could make it bettter.

My rear lower control arms has 3 bushes. 1 at both ends of the arm and 1 in the middle 0==0====0
One is for the Wheel assembly, middle is for the shock absorber and the end is for the chasis.

Logic tells me this arm is going to move ... well i know it because it has to, the issue is when i torque up the bolts they basically clamp the arm tight so that it wont move.

Any help on how it should be fitted ? I think idealy we want the 3 bushes to be able to rotate freely around the bolt that goes through it...but its pointless if the complete bush gets clamped on the sides.... so natrually u can loosen the nut so that it wont clamp it but then its out of torque spec and it might possible come loose... any help thanks?
