Mine has been damaged several times. No dents, but sratches and bad chips that required touch up paint.

There are several companies that go to car dealers and do bumper repair. The fill in the damaged areas and repaint them to match the original. My experience is that the repairs are typically in the $100-$125 range. Done properly you'll never know the difference.

call your local dealer and ask if they do bumper repair or if they can recommend someone. Its far less expensive because the new bumpers come in painted primer gray and you have to pay to have the new bumper painted before installation anyway, so save the money on the new bumper and just pay to have the old one repaired and painted. Same thing hlds true for recycled or junkyard bumpers--you'll have to pay to have them refinished before installation.

hope that helps

Repainting it would be cheaper, If you want to replace at a dealer ship it going to cost a grip. I think about $400-$600 at least just for a bumper. If there are no dents then just repaint it. You can look at junk yards to look for the part and go to places that specializes in civics that's cheaper then a dealer but still looking at a few $100 or more.
