I was wondering if a 2 ohm load pushing the same watts rms as a 4 ohm load, is there going to be a difference in loudness? The same speakers in both loads. I know the lower the ohms the more current. ect. But juss was wondering, general question.

Item in my car have been stolen. ($400 so far). I am an audio enthusiast and I drive a '94 Civic. What are the various alternatives to prevent theft? I want to buy a gun, but can't conceal it? I want to buy a chip that could go on a pet and put it in my subwoofer enclosure and amplifier. ; )
Post script, I like being a show-off.

I've got a JVC car stereo, which I had fitted in my car a few years ago. It's got a removable front panel, for safety. Unfortunately the front panel got dropped, and part of the screen is damaged internally, so you can't see the left side of text. I want to avoid buying a whole new stereo, because I don't know enough about electrics in cars to fit it myself, so it would cost me extra to get someone else to do it. Is it possible just to buy a replacement for the front panel?

pic 2 first

subsonic is just subsonic [not imporntant]
hi-input levels [[im thinking i dont need this at all]]
L&R Input--this goes to my head unit
L&R Output--dont use this because i dont have another amp.
+&---this hooks up to my subs
then remote bass is just the remote [[on pic 4]]

now pic 3

the ground is just a ground wire that goes to a chasis
remote goes to my wire on my harness on head unit (turns amp on/off)
+12V just hooks up 2 my battery on car
then fuses of course

really my main things i think im wrong on is if im not supposed to use da hi-level inputs and if im really not supposed to use da output RCA wires??

I was listening to the radio 106.1 near Baltimore and I was picking up an interview that Howard was doing with Scott Baio about his new show about Scott trying to get married at 45. I know 106.1 is out of Philadelphia, but isn't Whoopi Goldberg on that frequency

i dont want to get tricked again..please help. my back speakers were making a rattling noise, & now i have no sound coming from the back. i went to a national chain store & was told (when it first began) that i needed front speakers so i (under their advice) got four 6x9 Pioneers installed. for some reason, the rattling stopped for a little while, then when it came back, the back speakers went out completely. one company said i needed an amp. another said i needed new subwoofers, & that the labor is very complicated ( 4 hrs minimum) because of wiring issues. i called my local ford dealership & was told that they no longer have 8" speakers needed for my installation, which got me confused, because its going back & forth between amps & speakers.

has anyone ever had this happen & if so, was it both, or one or the other? i just want to have an idea, so that i wont waste money again...i got those 6x9s for nothing else but an upgrade when i wanted repairs.

thanks for any help...
