I've got a JVC car stereo, which I had fitted in my car a few years ago. It's got a removable front panel, for safety. Unfortunately the front panel got dropped, and part of the screen is damaged internally, so you can't see the left side of text. I want to avoid buying a whole new stereo, because I don't know enough about electrics in cars to fit it myself, so it would cost me extra to get someone else to do it. Is it possible just to buy a replacement for the front panel?

if its a few years old, you might have a hard time finding front panel. Besides your radio might be a little out of date. Best thing would be to just buy new one. If you do a little shopping around you might find a place where they ll replace for free since you re buying from them and since you already have aftermarket radio already, makes installation easier. You might find that an update is well due in time. Good luck

Go on line JVC and see if the removeable part is replaceable or even available. You might just want to upgrade after you see how much the replacement costs.
