I have a 99 Eclipse and I've put $250 Alpine Type R 6.5" in my doors. My passenger side door speaker buzzes specifically when the bass hits. I've thought of building my own mounts/boxes for the doors because the stock speaker mounts required some cutting to fit the speaker into the mount. I've also lined the area with foam padding, but it has done nothing to quiet the buzz (which sounds like plastic on plastic or plastic on metal vibration buzz).
HOWEVER, if I remove the interior door panneling, the buzzing stops. What can I do?

Should i run the medium and small speaker in a paralel circuit off of one output? the instructions say to only use 4ohms speakers, so if i run two 4ohm speakers in paralel wont it reduce the resistance to 2ohms? is this ok?

I'm specifically looking for door interior and rear interior panneling with small or no speaker screens, meaning that the surface of the panneling would be uniform. I plan to then cut the panneling to the propper size to fit the speaker covers that came with my speakers. Hopefully this will cut down on some of the rattle I hear when my bass hits. Am I better off trying to fabricate said interiors?

My CD player is an aftermarket one, bought at best buy about 6 months ago. It worked great with absolutely no skipping even on really bumpy roads at first, but it has been gradually skipping more and more. Its still not terrible, but it does skip often.

Is this something that cleaning will improve or is it more of a CD player problem, like the suspension or something?

The dash is made of 1/4" thick plastic. I just don't know what to cut it with that's not going to break the surrounding plastic. I've already tried a razor, any suggestions?

I have a 1996 Toyota Camry with original stereo. The other day the volume suddenly went out while I was driving. Since then I cannot get any volume from the radio, cassette, or when I plug an i-pod up to the system. The stereo turns on and is functional except no sound. I checked fuses but they all appear fine. I have done no work or modifications. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.
