I want to buy a 2002 chevy cavalier for $3500 from a dealer. But it's been salvaged. They claim it's simply had hte door replace and has been left for 2 years after he bought it. The carfax report kinda confirms it. Is that a good price for a salvage? Is a salvage car going to break on me? I wanna keep this car till break it in many years. HELP!!!

I was going to purchase one of these because I need more space for my 9 month old daughter.
I was going to get a car but the pice on these isnt too bad.
Anyone have any opinion on these trucks?
I was looking at either a 1998 or 99.
I was also looking at the Gran Cherokee, but they put the spare tire in the trunk which cancels out the space benefit.
I appreciate all comments.

Just wondering how much i could expect to get if I decided to sell my 1978 Datsun. It's in very good condition and I would consider a classic. It's Red, automatic transmission, tan interior, 4 door, new brakes and tires, hatchback.

I'm looking at buying a car, but when commercials come on and they shows the price, in the fine print they say "leasing for X number of months." So what happens at the end of those months? Is it better to buy the car?

What do you think about buying a vehicle that was a corporate lease (one owner). It's a 2002 Dodge Ram with 39K. Also, CarFax shows minor/moderate damage reported in a car accident in 2004. What are some things we should do to protect ourselves?

I am currently in the market of buying a used car and was wanting some people's opioin on what they thought on Eastern Europe Cars (AKA BMW, Merdeces) compared to Asian Made Cars (AKA Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Acura) I am currently looking into mid-90's models of both imports and was wondering i what other people thought about them. The BMW i am looking at is a 1996 323i with 150,000 miles on it and the other is a 1998 Toyota Camry with 160,000 miles on it. if you could just put what you hav heard last longer and what has cheaper parts for the cars.
