Im looking for a 1 ton frame for a chevy truck 8 foot bed. I would prefere the frame bare because i have my own running gear. any year from 1974-1988 will work. searious answers onily please

The truck I want is very very specific, I want a '59 chevy apache, one that has no rust, and is in good condition, but not excellent, I want one that is cheap, mabe close to 5000 and under, automatic transmission, or manuel, but I would prefer a manuel transmission, This would be my dream truck almost, and all help leading me to buying it, or aquiring one would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I had some engine trouble in sep 06 and although the car is fine now, i have lost a little bit of confidence in it. I am now looking to purchase a new car but still have 2 1/2 years still to pay. This monts spells half of my term agreement. Am i entitled to VT my current car? If so how do i do it? if not Why not???

Does anyone have any information as to why the check engine light would be on and the diagnostic hookup is saying that the car needs new transmission sensors?
This is for a 1995 Mustang V6 3.8L automatic that I'm looking at buying.

Would it be a simple, easy replacement or could it mean that the transmission is about to go?
It's a daily driver and shifts smoothly.

obviously if someone buys a used car from a dealership, you get a warranty with it but with a private sale, how is one supposed to know if there are any internal problems with the car? i'm looking to buy a "beater" car do just drive to and from work. i would feel more comfortable if i had my mechanic check over the car to make sure there aren't any issues with it before buying the car but that probably is not possible.

anyone have any tips for buying a used car (private sale)?

Does Lexus IS 250 sell at MSRP? I see the Invoice price is much lower. I hate haggling with Car Dealers.The impression I get
with the Lexus dealer here in Winter Park Florida is MSRP.

Does anybody own a Toyota Prius? I'm curious as to if it REALLY gets as great gas mileage as they claim. I've heard a few other people say that the car isn't that great and it doesn't get as good gas mileage as claimed. I was wondering what other people had to say about it.
