How do you buy a car if money is not an option?

I would keep my 1989 Ranger and then rebuild it from the ground up. Preformance suspention, light weight chassis, 302/351/427/460 Engine (that must be carburated, easier tuning for quicker preformance changes, tune for the track, after the track, tune it back for the street) mated to a matching 5 speed preformace transmission, with 3.73 gears. I would keep the body mostly stock, aside form a 3 inch body drop for stability. I would change the rear solid axel to a fulley independant 4 link rear suspention.

I am currently in the process of doing this, and I have completed the 3 inch drop, and a few other minor details. I am planning the 302 and transmission swap, out of a slavaged foxbody mustang, this summer or winter. I am planning on getting 450 - 500 wheel horse power from it. That is my goal I am aiming for.

In easy terms, think blown mustang that looks like a Generation 2 Ranger.
