What's your worst (or best) Car Ad ?

My friend traded in her car for a newer (but secondhand) car at a supposedly reputable car dealership. The cars computers showed errors on the dashboard and problems with the brakes. After 3 days she took the car back. They supplied a hire car for a couple of weeks but have now demanded she return it. She now has no car as it is still at the dealership 'being repaired'. She has asked for her money back but the dealership have not coughed up. She now hasn't got the car or the money. Who can she go to to get advice and fight her battle?

I have a car that I am trying to sell. I still owe money on this car. What is the whole process of a private party selling a car to another private party when they still owe on the car? I have someone interested, and I need to know what to do!

I have a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire w/power sunroof. It runs great and I haven't really had any problems out of it. In fact, I don't even want to sell it, but we opted to get a 4 DR when we found out we were going to have a second child and the car is only a 2 DR.

Anyway, my husband painted it black due to the red paint fading and the only thing that's really wrong with it is a crack in the windshield - which happened recently when (I assume) a rock hit it from someone driving down the alley and we're going to get a different windshield put in it. There's also a "rip" in the side of the drivers seat when the fabric started to wear. (not too bad)

Other than that, we took it around last year when we were looking at cars and the dealer lots were asking us how much we wanted for it instead of just making an offer.

I looked up the NADA value of it (it has 117,169 miles) and the high value is $3400 and the middle ground is $2,800. Is $3,000 a reasonable price

My 4 months 2007 scion tc was crashed in the front and rear. It's not a total loss (airbags didnt deploy). And everything except a few things will be replaced by insurance. Should I keep the car, trade it in, or sell it and get something else?

If these sites are legit, the savings on (especially classic and sports) cars are phenomenal. I could actually afford to my dream car, a Dodge Viper. Apparently, law enforcement/ customs type agencies sell the various assets they seize during apprehension of (apparently very rich) criminals, and need to sell them ASAP, as storage costs would become a huge burden. Would love to hear from anyone who has purchased, or know someone who has
