I found a truck that I am very very interested in and they are asking $24,900. It is blue booked at $25,075. It is in excellent condition, we took it for a drive and it is a very nice truck! I am wanting to know what the botton line usually is for a sale of a vehicle. Like what is the most they can take off of a vehicle before they have to say NO more. We have a little room to play a little ball, but we do not want to pay $24,000.00 either. What is the lowest amount without sounding outragous can we start out with in an offer to the sales guy. We are going back tomorrow so we are scrambling trying to figure out what to start off with first. Thanks for your advice in advance!!

I am thinking about purchasing a used 2005 or 2006 BMW 325 or 330 (they both have about 25,000 miles) and have a concern. I have heard that they are not very reliable, some of my friends have even said unreliable. However, I have somewhat discredited they're comments because none have never owned a BMW... but I still wonder. And then there have been others that swear by them. Who do I believe?

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with BMW? How was it? What about the 05/06 models? Also, how would you describe the typical BMW driver-- do you think that thoe 25,000 miles could have been hell on the car?

One more question. One was a 6-speed and the other was automatic... if there is a difference in performence/ reliability/ cost of ownership could you please let me know and if possible explain?

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Don't know the full details but a friend of mine purchased a used (few years old) Mercedes at a reputable dealer. Three months later they called to say they can't locate the title and they need him to bring the car back. Say they will give full refund but that they need the car back. ???? Does this make sense???

My choices are an 05 Pontiac Grand Prix, 06 Ford Taurus, 05 Buick Rendevous. All with mileage between 10 and 15 thousand. All priced basically the same and in good condition at Carmax. Which do you think would be the wisest buy? Thanks!

I have a Picasso, but I want a Freelander. I can sell my Picasso for more than I'd pay for a Freelander of the same year, so something tells me that maybe a Picasso is a better care afterall, and maybe I shouldn't be so hasty to sell it?

If a car is built in Japan is it true what what they say that the quality control in Japan is better then US. Meaning that if you buy the same car make and model that was built in Japan versus US. The Japanese built car is the one you should buy. Looking into Toyota's but also other cars too like Mazda, Nissan, etc...

Thanks!!!
