My choices are an 05 Pontiac Grand Prix, 06 Ford Taurus, 05 Buick Rendevous. All with mileage between 10 and 15 thousand. All priced basically the same and in good condition at Carmax. Which do you think would be the wisest buy? Thanks!

remember to think of re-sell...id go with the rendevous....it is more functional than the others you listed

I don't know about the buick, but in the past tauruses were junk. They were very popular, but very much junk. Pontiac doesn't have a good reputation either.

I have to go with the Taurus. There are a bunch of them out there and if you need parts they'll be easier to find. But I'm prejudiced because I had a Sable with over 200K miles and never had to get into the engine.
