Buying & Selling - March 2007

I out of desperation got into loan, it was tough to pay but I did it, then I lost my job and I have not been able to keep up. So they are towing away my truck. I know it was a bad idea but I needed a car so badly. Fortunately I still have another paid off vehicle that needs some work so I will use it but I don't want this to happen again what should I do in the future. Never had much guidance with these types of things. Thanks,

I saw this guy the other day with this red car. I stared to think to myself why would a guy buy a red car, it looks so feminem looking. Like i know alot of ppl will be like who cares or w.e but im just wondering.. I mostly see guys especially who are in there teens diving black, dark green, brown or white cars its so rare to see one driving a red... Pls can anyone tell me why guys would ever consider or thing of buying a car that is red... and the only reason i can think of is if you like this girl and u know she likes red cars and u have one, then you would try to impress her with that car?? lol i dunno im just guessin? any others lol??

I Haver Made As Many Payments As He, But Stupidly Just Gave Him Cash. If He Chooses To Not Make Payments ,But Tells Me He Is Making Them, How Can I Protect What Was To Be A Gift, From Not Having It Taken Away. The Bank Is No Help. I'll want a car that is dependable, safe, great gas mileage, and not embarassing to a 16 year old. It'll need to get him through his Junior year in High School and all the way through college, at least.

With gas at $3 a gallon and on it's way up from here on, gas mileage will be important, but I don't want to lose the cool and dependable and safe factors.

I know there was site called CarDirect.com which mentioned the vehicle specs for a certain type of vehicle, but those specs were same for the different models of it. For example, there are two types of vehicles of the kind I drive, the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder. I drive the 4-cylinder model yet the vehicles specs with gas mileage included are mentioned as exactly the same for both when yet that's not true since a 6-cylinders generally take more gas 4-cylinders.

So is there a better more exact website you can recommend for my exact type of vehicle with all the exact vehicle specs?

i bought a car through ebay but the auction had ended so i recieved the invoice through email and was told to pay through western union which i have. I have only just noticed that all the other emails i have had from ebay have a security key in the corner but the one with the invoice hasn't. Have i been ripped off and if so what can i do?

I currently own a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. Well after owning this car for over a year I am not satisfied. The car is great handling and performance wise and that's about it! I am looking for a car with comfortable leather seating for long trips, ammenities, and last but not least RELIABILITY. I have been reading numerous amounts of reviews about all of the above cars. I noticed that MB and BMW seem to have the most repairs of all. But then again there were only 6-7 negative reviews out of 200. So I am curious what you guys have to say. I don't want to do what I did a year ago and regret this car. I was going to go with the 2002-2004 MB C230 Kompressor Coupe until I started to really read the reviews on Mercedes. I really hope somone can give me honest feedback on these cars and perhaps owned one themselves. Thanks!

I recently bought a car from a local small dealership. I had to do a $3000 down payment . I put $1000 in cash and the orher $2000 was going to come from my tax return. Unfortunatly I moved and the tax return is being held up by that situation. I have already started paying the bank for my car.

I figure I'll get about half of its blue book value of $6K which would be about $3K but I've only got about 1 or $2K to put with it. Should I go ahead and get my new CR-V or wait and save more money for a better down payment. I put around 25K miles a year on it because I drive 56 miles round trip to work and take a trip to Fl. each year. I could sell it myself but that seems like more trouble than its worth.

Okay, I did my homework on this but I need a second opinion because I'm not really sure. I've test driven the Nissan Altima SE 5 speed manual today, I loved the way it rides...it's smooth, barely put your foot on the pedal and it's going fast. It has 250 horsepower with 6500 RPM's before redlined. Now, I actually own a Toyota Celica GT-S it has 180 horsepower with 7500 RPM's, to be honest it seems to me the Altima has a lot of acceleration, but my Celica GT-S I believe could take it out if it were in a race with it? I'm thinking about getting the Altima AND keeping my Celica GT-S, I don't want to lose that car, I still love that car? Anyway, tell me what you think is faster? What you'd think would win in a race?
