Why some people like 4x4 than sedans or trucks?

If people like 4 by 4 than trucks or sedans why the heck people like them so much?

4 x 4 is better at getting you going, but as I have years of experience driving snowplows I can assure you they are the people who end up 'stuck in the ditch' far more often then people with only two wheel drive because they seem to believe that the 4 x 4 feature makes them somewhat invulnerable. when the simple reality is that ALL cars and trucks use all four wheels in braking, so 4 x 4 has NO extra braking advantage to it, only an accelerating advantage.

Because of the acceleration advantage they tend to drive faster, and end up in the Ditch faster and better - deeper too, because they brake just the same as all of the rest.

There is also the reality that if you don't know about it, a four wheel power slide can really throw you for a loop, and waaaaay into the ditch

Drive slowly - cautiously in inclement weather and you will get where you are going just fine

Because during the winter when the snow and ice abound, we can take off and leave the other people in the snowy dust. Plus there is room for lots of stuff in the back of the SUV... And when you go hunting, there is room for all the firearms, ammo, etc.
And... when little people in teeny tiny cars get in your way, you get to go monster truck ballistic and drive over them...
