We were supposed to be buying a 49k vehicle that had a GMS discount of 5k. That would make the vehicle 44k. We put 4k down and other incentives totaled 3.25k. This would put the price right around 37k. However, when we build the vehicle on the GMC websight we can only get the price to 44k. This means that we have purchased a 44k vehicle and did not receive the GMS discount, only the 4k down and the 3.25 in incentives. Do we have a right to the higher priced vehicle, money back, or what? We were basically shafted on our GMS discount.

I am a college student. I want to buy a new car between the VW's GTI and the Acura's RDX.
Undoubtly, they are in different class and different models. But I love both of them with different reasons. I am struggling in them, can someone give me some advises for how should I choose or some information that help me to choose among them?
For GTI, I love it because it is a hatchback, I like hatchbacks. I love GTI's performance, and I am really excited with it. And it room is big enough for me. Because I usually do driving to college only and maybe do visiting my friends sometimes.
For the RDX, I love it's look. And it is more comfortable than the GTI as it also do well in performance. They accelerate in the same speed but I feel more things in GTI especially the sound of the engine. One more reason that I love RDX is, most of the stuffs inside is come from standard. And it's cornering feels like the sedan's....this impressed me alot.
Please direct me the route to choose.
Thanks.

I have a guy coming in a few days to buy my pick-up and I know I have to take the tags off before he comes and turn them into my local DMV, but what else? Do I have to mail the registration card in as well to let the DMV know the truck has been sold? Anything else?

I was in an accident and my car that I loved and had been making payments for was "totaled out" - the payment I received on it was used to pay off my remaining payments. Any leftover was used towards a down payment on my "new" car, a 2003 Infiniti QX4. I love it, but I feel kind of like I was wrangled into it. A few months later, I really feel that I can't "afford" it and wish I had gone with a cheaper alternative. Since I have not "bought" it and am still making payments, I am wondering what my options are. I haven't put a lot of miles on it ... I can't imagine I'm the only one that's ever been in this situation. Live and learn, I feel like such an impulse buyer ...

I responded to a newspaper ad recently and bought a 1971 vw beetle. The car had no plates and no paperwork that I could find. There were several telltale signs that the car had sat a number of years, but I understood it to be a project. The seller said he had originally bought it at auction with the intent of using its (good) engine for a sand rail dune buggy, but that like many other good plans requires time. Once paid for, I was provided no bill of sale which I feel I was owed. It was as if the seller felt that since he had let the car go very cheap, that he owed no person any more, and if he did, he should've either charged more or wrecked it instead. Like he could have gone to the trouble but would be put out for something extraneous. The seller has a shop in an easy to find location, so it is not as if I cannot find him, and he doesn't appear to be trying to hide, hes just a strangely irritable and crotchety person.

I plan to buy a certified pre-owned 2004 Z4 within the next few weeks. Most of the cars that I'm finding at dealerships are listed around $29,000.

Since I'm paying cash/check, what is a realistic figure to negotiate off this price? Is 10% too much/little?

Most of the cars are lease returns with a trade-in value around $23k. Should I aim for a final price in the $25k-$26k range?

Thanks for your help. Not sure if BMW negotiates like other used car dealers.
