I am currently searching for a good, reliable, certified used car. I have heard so many different opinions about which is the better car. I am looking for a 2000-2005. Please submitt any suggestions. I have heard that Pontiacs and Fords aren't good cars. I have also heard that Toyota and Chevy are good choices. Any advice is appreciated!

I currently am driving a 95 Dodge Caravan with 103,000 miles on it. The AC doesn't work and the paint is chipping, those are the only things wrong with it everything else is great and the inside is like new. I want to sell it and get a car (I am a 21 year old female with nO kids and do not feel like I should be driving a minivan!) The car I want to buy, either used or new, needs to be reliable, okay with gas, "pretty" (like i said I am 21/f), and on the cheaper side.

Where should I look?

Should I buy used or new?

How much should I sell my van for?

Any extra details would help me, Thank you all in advance!!!

(My dad is a mechanic so he will be going with me to look)

Anyone remember those rear window stickers that were big in the 80s, in the UK (and poss in europe too).. you know.. the ones sold in Halfords that covered the entire rear window, with a series of horizontal orange stripes, and the name of the car make in italic letters... new or good condition second hand.. I'm after the "nissan" and am prepared to pay good money!

Also, while we're at it, I'm after some 80's style rally spotlights..

I've aquired a near mint contition 1988 nissan sunny hatchback, and am aining to pimp it up in full period style! (show these young'uns how it should be done!)

I've searched everywhere.. ebay, internet, and can't find anything suitable.. anyone able to help, or maybe even have said articles for sale?

thanks in advance!

I need people's opinions on car leases. I live in the city and I occasionally need a car for work (like 2 or 3 times a week). I like driving but I like getting around without one also. I think a lease would be a good option for me since I don't necessarily depend on a car.

I've heard a lot of different things about leases, some good, some bad. I want people to share their experiences with them. Key word experiences. I would prefer answers from people who have experience with car leases.

One thing in particular that worries me about leases is the insurance. I've heard that people get hit with a lot more insurance costs when they lease. Is this true?

I know the prices are higher during prom. I'm about to pay $600 for 5 hours and I'm going to make the down payment today, a sum of $300. Am I being over charged?

To make a long story short, I bought a car. The financing did not go through the first time, because the employee in the finance dept messed up all mypaperwork. The car dealer calls me a week later to tell me we needed to re-do the financing, & they fired the guy who originally did it(meanwhile I have had possession of the car the whole time)
I tell them I refuse to drive back down to them because of their error (30m away) they come here a few days later and have me sign the financing (outside on the hood of the car) I don't get any copies, because they have to drive to my husband to sign. My husband signs later while he is at work (and really busy) he didn't think to ask for a copy I guess.
I get the copies in the mail a few days later.
I see they've added a Platnium independant warranty to the financing. This costs $2699, & to cancel will cost $200. I called them to tell them no one ever sold this to me. I know nothing about it, and they scammed it in. Is this legal? What can I do?

Hello,
Heres my deal....I am selling a car in a local book and a man named jim contacted me say he wants to buy the truck and will be sending me a check for 3800 dollars to cover shipping blah blah blah..so i responded back and gave him my name, address, phone number and email.
I looked online and found out AFTER it is a scam.
I emailed him back and told him the truck has been sold and to not send a check b/c it will be returned to him.
What do I do now? What can he do with that information?
I didnt give him my SS number so can he still steal my ID??
Should I change my address and phone number?

I saw many Mazda on street now. It look sporty, stylist and nice but most people like Camry, Accord... after I learn about the Mazda. It has a lot of technologies that Camry or Accord don't, if Camry, Accord add all technology like Mazda I think the price will pump $3,000 to $5,000 difference because they sell by brand image and most people buy the car by ear (just hear and buy) not buy the car by product knowledge. Anybody give me some idea, I appreciated
