Should I buy a car that has a lot of miles compare to the year it was made. For example, 110K miles on a 2003 GMC SUV.

I'd go for lower mileage as well. Think about it this way, would it be better to buy a 3 year old car that has 150K miles, or a 13 year old car that has 15K miles. The older car won't have the luxury or be as flashy as the newer one, but it won't wear out mechanically as soon either.

I will go for lower miles because it equal to distance travelled. Usually the mileage and age of the car should be reasonably balance.
E.g. a 10yrs old car will travelled about 100k miles, so the usage for each yr will be about 10k.

You must be careful when buying a the low mileage vehicle, especially if the age and mileage didn't match. Do find out why the ex-owner sold the vehicle. Sometime the car may met into accident before and the ex-owner wanted to get rid of it after fixing it.

So if are buying a low mileage and accident free vehicle, buy from someone u know and do CHECK, CHECK and DOUBLE CHECK !!!

It depends on how old the car with fewer miles is. If it is say 6 to 7 years older than the new car it will be missing some of the newer technology and therefore could be less reliable, have worse brakes , handle worse and so on. It really depends also on the type of vehicle. Research your autos, for example a toyota or honda have a 0 to 5% problem rate as oppossed to a gm or dodge which have a 43 to 46 % problem rate. Be leary of any american car with a 100k many problems will arise soon.
