Checkup would be handy. Check out carfax.com too and see if any major problems have been reported with the car. Make sure your tags are taken care of. And it wouldn't hurt to have the oil changed.

B4 you actually purchased the car you should have gotten the VIN (vechile Identification Number) to run a Carfax report which would tell you how many reported accidents the car has been in and all the work done on it. Its not too late to do this now, but this shoulod have been done b4 the purchase.

Now you should you take it to like AutoZone or something of that sort for a diagnostics report which will tell you things that need to be done now like oil changes, brake repair, and other things. It does cost but eventually saves you in the end because you will know exactly what you need done instead of assuming.

I say don't worry about it. The Accord is a GREAT used car. Just as long as you keep the preventive maint. (Tires,Brakes,Oil,fluids, etc.) up on it. If you are curious about what to do, next time the oil is changed, get the techs working on it to perform an inspection. (this may cost you, some Honda dealers may do this free)

Hope this helps,Have a great day!

The first thing you SHOULD have done was get an unbiased inspection of the car BEFORE you bought it. Now, all you can do is pray and start saving your money for repairs.

BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT!

Best bet is to go ahead and get a tune-up. Check on a cold air intake it will save gas and increase power. good first step.
