Can you tell me what after market products were offered to you when you bought/leased your new vehicle? Did you buy any of them? Tell me your reasons why.

Almost 2 years ago my husband and I bought a "used" 2005 Grand Caravan. Long story short... we pretty much got taken by some fast-talking salesmen. We thought we learned out lesson. Because of other unforseen circumstances in our lives, we can not afford to keep paying on the van. We still owe more than what it's worth. We know that there is no way we can sell this and make any money, and selling it privately (like through an ad in the paper) won't get us the amount we need to get rid of these payments, and we can't just trade it in for something else because we would end up with a newer vehicle and just as high of payments. We also recognize there is NO WAY we can make any money off this. Is there another way we can get out of this? I'd like to be able to just walk away. We seriously can't afford the payments in any way, shape, or form. Any advice? (And please, no rude answers. I'm serious here. I want actual advice and no "I told you so" kind of answers!)

first i check on their website and price was £5000 and when i arrived at their salon the price banner on the car was showing £6000 - but salesman goes "no worries it has been just reduced to £5000 today, this is a great price"

is this a trick that they use to stop me from negotiating the price ?

One factor might be distance. I live about 4 miles from a Pontiac dealer and about an hour drive away from a Mazda dealer. The cars seem to be about the same price when all is said and done. The Pontiac gets better gas mileage, but the Mazda is bigger.

I realize this depends on one's finances, and you'd always want to avoid financing as much as you can, but I'm wondering if anyone thinks there's a good rule of thumb to be financially sensible. "Zero down" offers just seem crazy to me. Do you think a 20 percent down payment is sound? How much should I save up? Thanks!

This is what it said for my Camry: It had found 20 records

These 20 records may indicate whether this vehicle has been:

Salvaged or stolen
Flood or hail damaged
In a fire or accident
Declared a lemon
Had an odometer rollback
Used as a rental or taxi

I am checking out a 4runner right now with 24 records (has a rebuilt title). I thought this VIN was bad on the 4runner and was not going to purchase it, but my Camry is 20 records and runs like a charm. What do you think? Buy or not?

My husband has an antique (junk) car. I want to call a hauling company that removes junk cars, have that vehicle towed away, give my husband $500.00 and then tell my husband that someone bought it. What do I have to do to get rid of that junk car? Can you give me specifics on faking a car for sale by owner?

The gas is crunching my budget plus I am getting out of the Air Force and will be going back to school and I need to drop the payment. I am looking to sell it but I have no clue how. Can someone help me to any free websites that I can post my truck on. Its a great truck. Thanks

I have to spend around 1,000 to change the transmission but I am wondering if it worth fixing it since it has so many miles. I just need a car that could last around 2 more years.
If I buy a new one I would be paying around 500/month and I think it's way too much money, besides I have to pay for college and other expenses.
What do you think.
