Take it from an OLD car guy, no matter what they SAY! Rental and Lease "program" cars are absolutely NOT taken care of. They are not maintenanced and the people that drive them sometimes actually attempt to destroy them before they turn them back in!

One of best times I ever had was with a buddy of mine in his company rental car. You name it, and we tried it... Not good!

If you INSIST, be sure you invest in a loooong extended warranty!

Sounds fair. I would run the vin number through your insurance provider though. Carfax sucks. My insurance found a claim on the vehicle that carfax didn't show.

Look it up at kbb.com or nada.com. These sites publish the books that the dealers use to price cars, so they will let you know if the price is OK. BTW, price varies by location, so I can't look it up for you.

Before buying, I would have it inspected by a mechanic that does not work for the dealership.
